Our pilot offers two levels of weekly support. Each begins with listening, a thoughtful assessment, and a plan built around your loved one.

Pilot availability: We are beginning with one Salt Lake County client and offering only 20- or 40-hour weekly plans during this first phase.

Essential Comfort

$6,000 / month

Personalized support may include

  • End-of-life doula presence and companionship
  • Emotional support and guidance for the family
  • Respite so family caregivers can rest or attend to other needs
  • Non-medical personal support and comfort measures
  • Meal planning, preparation, and light household assistance
  • Errands, meaningful outings, and personal requests when appropriate
  • Coordination and communication with hospice or other providers
  • A written, personalized care plan that adjusts as needs change

Best for: Families who have an existing care structure but need reliable relief, continuity, and expert emotional support.

What MAKA does—and does not—provide

We provide

Non-medical comfort care, end-of-life doula support, companionship, respite, household help, family guidance, and care coordination.

We coordinate

We communicate with hospice, home health, and medical professionals with the client’s permission so everyone understands the care plan.

We do not replace

MAKA does not replace emergency services, physicians, nurses, hospice, or other licensed medical treatment.
